The Greatest Robert De Niro Performances Of All Time

When it comes to listing my favorite actors of all time, Robert De Niro is at the top of the list. The man has been showcasing his talent in major motion pictures for the better part of 40 years, and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. It is clear at this point in time that acting is much more than a profession for Robert De Niro, it is a way of life.

This article will highlight some of Robert De Niro’s most prestigious films in which he has starred.

I will start out by mentioning just one of his many incredible films that he and Martin Scorsese collaborated on, and that is none other than Goodfellas. This movie is based on the true story of mobster Henry Hill and his gang of cronies. Along with Mr De Niro, Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta are stellar in this film.

Another great movie from this incredibly talented actor is The Score. Also starring Edward Norton, in this film Robert De Niro plays a talented jewelry thief nearing the end of his career, but has one more heist he wants to pull off.

Casino is one of my favorite films that happen to star Robert De Niro. It came as no surpise that this movie was awesome as it had the certified stamp of De Niro, Pesci and Scorsese working together, a surefire combination for a memorable film.

I have actually yet to see Brazil, but I often see this film on many great movie lists. Robert De Niro stars in this 1980 classic that movie fans around the world seem to agree is one of director Terry Gilliam’s best.

Finally, I felt that A Bronx Tale was a film that was worth mentioning. This is one of the few mob films that stars Robert De Niro as the good guy! Chazz Palmienteri, who also happened to write the script, plays the bad guy in this one.

Hopefully there is one or more films from the great Robert De Niro that you have yet to see on this list.

The Most Memorable Jack Nicholson Performances Of All Time

Jack Nicholson is without a doubt of the greatest actors of his generation, if not ever. There are so many movies that the man has starred in which have achieved iconic status, either from audiences, critics, the Academy or all of the above. When discussing the best Nicholson films, it is important to cite several films which help to showcase Jack’s versatility.

The following movies are my favorite films starring the great Jack Nicholson.

It should come as no surprise that The Departed makes the list. Jack plays a crime boss in this film and shows us that even in his older age, he can still be a terrifying force to deal with. See this movie if you have not already.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s nest is simply put, one of the greatest pieces of American cinema ever created. Jack plays a mental patient that leads a coup against an evil nurse at an insane asylum and the scenes are memorable, to say the least.

One of the best Jack Nicholson roles of all time is without a doubt his portrayal of Colonel Nathan R. Jessep in A Few Good Men. This movie is incredible, which comes as no surprise since the great Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay.

I normally do not care for romantic comedies, but Terms Of Endearment, which was released in 1983, was a very enjoyable film to watch. And this is coming from a guy who does not care for the genre normally. This movie also stars Danny DeVito, Shirley MacLaine and Debra Winger.

Jack Nicholson’s second Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role came for his portrayal of Melvin Udall in As Good As It Gets. This is as good as acting gets.

These are just some of the notable films that Nicholson has starred in over the years, and surely there are others.

I am writing a biography for my friend. She is native american. She wants the story to be full of magic and medaphoric meanings. Would it make the biography more interesting for the reader if it was written in this way?…..is it what people may expect rather than a normal drone scientific one?

Do you like science? What magic dose science have?

I think your friend should be writing her own paper. Unless she is giving it up to you. In that case write it the way shge wants.
