Was extremely suicidal and depressed for years and years before he became president? He almost had no chance in being selected to run on the republican ticket… It was through revenge? Anyways… the real question is.. I just finished an excellent biography on good old abe. anyone read any other good books about him? such an interesting guy!

I truly find all things I read half truths, and certainly I do not believe anything I hear without research. I will research this. Peculiar isn’t though since he really launched the Republican Party for the poor and working class.
